Stressed, But Well Dressed

I did it!
I found an item for my wardrobe that sums me up in just one sentence. And no, it's not a fur coat. (My Dad obviously thought he was hilarious when he said I was all fur coat, no knickers! Ha. Ha Dad)
It is in fact, this Zara clutch..

I. Am. Obsessed. With. This. Bag.
It was the very last one in the Liverpool store and I literally couldn't stop myself from buying it. It's plain white leather, but with this amazing standout lettering. And at just £20 I think it's an absolute BARGAIN!

I think it's going to take me through to Summer perfectly, I'm just waiting to see how many times it's acceptable to wear it in a row..

Top - Zara
Jeans - GAP
Coat - Pull & Bear
Heels - Zara ; similar here
Necklace - London Market
Bag - Zara ; sold out online

Speak soon, I'm off to admire my bag AGAIN!

Sunday Style Crush - Kim Kardashian

Happy Sunday!! Here we are again, these weeks are going sooo fast, I can't believe we're nearly in March!

Today's Style Crush might leave a few of you thinking I have no sense.. BUT! I'm all for a girl who is willing to try new things in fashion, and not always getting it right in the process. Because isn't it all about the process anyway.. Finding out what works for you and what mistakes to never make again?
And while this megastar has definitely had a LOT fair few of these moments of madness in fashion, I've really been enjoying her recent style overhaul.

This week's Sunday Style Crush goes to my ultimate guilty pleasure.. Miss Kim Kardashian!

What's In My Bag?

I've been dying to do a What's In My Bag post for so long now! Possibly because I'm super nosy and LOVE reading other posts and watching videos of other bloggers. But also think that the contents of your bag can say a lot about you as a person, and I thought why not?!
So without further a'do, here is my handbag..

This month I've been loving using my burgundy Zara bag, the colour is so lovely and it's so easy to match with every outfit!

And onto its contents..

Of course the most obvious is my phone, the Sony Xperia is an amazing phone in my opinion, I'm not an iPhone girl myself and this model certainly does the job, and more for me! And of course my trusty pair of headphones for early morning, and rush hour bus journeys.

My iPad comes absolutely EVERYWHERE with me, I'm an on the go blogger, with working a full time job, so without my iPad I would be screwed! Keeping it safe with me being so clumsy is essential though, so my Skinnydip case is perfect! (A dramatic fall in the middle of a busy road, and it came out completely unscathed.. Thanks Skinnydip)
And of course the latest copy of Look Magazine for lunch time inspiration.

On to the essentials, my River Island purse, and work tag..

Now working in retail I've realised a good manicure will NEVER last. So a decent hand cream is important to keep my paws soft throughout the day. Soap and Glory Hand Food is my all time favourite, that I recommend to absolutely everyone. Also leaving the house without my nail varnish for emergency cover ups is never a good day. Currently I'm wearing Barry M's Cappuccino with Topshop's Gel Effect top coat. A winning combination!

Everyone likes to carry perfume in their bag for top ups during the day, and Naughty Alice by Vivienne Westwood is the perfect size to carry around. As you can see I'm so close to finishing this bottle,  a repurchase will be on the cards sooner rather than later!

And fiiinallly.. My favourite part, the lipsticks! I think I have a bit of a problem. There is always at least 3 lipsticks in my handbag at any given time. Mainly because I'll swap and change which colour I wear as the day goes on.. When my mood changes, so does my lip colour.
The day you see me with just one lipstick in my bag will be the day that hell freezes over I'm sure.

And that's the lot! I'm traveling pretty light day to day recently so there's no where near as much junk in my bag as I have been found with on occasion..
Let me know if you liked this post in the comments! And I'll be seeing you all again soon..

The Boyfriend's Wardrobe Raid

Lost blogging equipment.. What feels like 9 million working days in a row.. Blogging equipment annoyingly repurchased and we're back!
I've had one of the most frustrating 2 weeks ever! But I'm back on track, and looking forward to nothing more than spending some time with my man, over the Valentines weekend!

After a trip to the hospital to be poked, prodded, needled (excuse the cotton wool plaster - the new accessory) and having cameras shoved up to my eyeballs.. It's a given that I'm not looking my damn finest today, but I'm itching to get a post up so here we go!

I've had these Topshop Leigh Jeans for a few years now, and they we're starting to look a liiiitle rough around the edges, but still fit like a DREAM! Throwing them out wasn't an option, so I thought I'd take to the scissors and have a go at slashing the knees..

Comfort was the overall need for today, teaming the jeans with an oversized men's T, a shirt thrown around the waist, and my good old trusty leather jacket.

I hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Weekend with your other halves, or just your closest girlfriends! Whatever you get up to, make it a good one!

Valentines Day Gift Guide - Not All Gifts Come Wrapped Up

For the last part of my Valentines Day Gift Guide, there's something a bit different.
To me, Valentines Day isn't a day for showering with gifts, because I don't feel that's the reason we have this day to celebrate. I see it as a day to remember and to appreciate everyone that you love in your life, not just the boyfriends and girlfriends.. And that sometimes the best gifts, are the ones that you don't need to trail around shops for, or spend hours online shopping for..
They're the ones that don't cost a penny to buy, and have a bucket load of love and thought in them!

Valentines Day Gift Guide - Show Her That You Love Her

Hi everyone!
So I'm having a few technical difficulties getting my outfit posts LIVE, so for the next few days I thought I would bring you another Gift Guide.
I enjoyed putting together my Christmas Gift Guides so much, that I thought it would be a nice idea to just throw up some little Valentines Day inspired ones..
And I know there's probably a host of people completely unimpressed with everything to do with this day. But its a day I've always loved (SINGLE or ATTACHED) mainly down to me being such a big romantic softy. So for the next three days there will be some mini Gifts Guides up here for you to have a look at, and hopefully get some inspiration for buying for your Valentines this year!

So here's Part 1, one for the ladies..

Fluff & Lace

Only 2 posts later and here is my beloved jumper again! (I did warn you it would make a few appearances..) This time round I'm throwing it together with my classic lace pencil skirt, statement necklace and chunky burgundy boots.

Just swap the boots for a pair of heels and this outfit is ready for the night, this jumper truly is the best basis for so many great outfits..

I now have it in 3 other colours in my online basket, just waiting for payday to roll around.. Oops!
