Did A Little Shopping..

So I took a little detour on my way to work the other day. And unintentionally ended up with a bag of shopping. Oops. If I'm out alone, with no one to tell me I don't need something, I'm straight to the tills.. It's a problem I love to have!

Primark isn't a shop I venture into too much, but after seeing the infamous £12 strappy heels, I was in like a rocket. They would most definitely have been a part of this post, if only the left foot was anywhere to be found :( (I WILL BE BACK SHOE DEPARTMENT!)
Like a stroppy teenager I was on my way out, when the bag department caught my eye, and these two were added to my collection.
Rose gold necklace and bracelet, from Dorothy Perkins
I love this bracelet, it's a little reminder to me to always keep a smile on my face.

How cute are these little pumps?! It's that time of year, where us lucky OFFICE staff get our Spring/Summer shoe. It was an extremely hard choice, as the whole range is so on point! But I'm happy with my final choice with these nude, tasseled beauties!

And finally, MY OASAP ORDER ARRIVED! I'm stupidly happy about this, because I've waited so long for it to get here, it was my intentions to have it for my birthday, but problems in early transport put quite a delay on the delivery.. But! Better late than never!
And it was well worth it because its just as great as it looked online. I am one happy shopper!

Done any shopping in the run up to Easter? Send me your Haul links!

Have a great weekend everyone..x

Money Supermarket's Passion For Fashion Competition

I'm so excited about this post! Money Supermarket are running a new Passion For Fashion competition.
To take part, you have to create a full look for under £200, for the 3 categories given, these being Casual Wear, Party Wear & Holiday Wear.
The entries are judged by fellow bloggers Jen Olivia & Natasha  (YAY!) who have been given a category each to judge. They will separately choice their winner, who will win the £200 to buy their winning outfit! They'll then go on to choose an overall winner who will win themselves a lovely £1,000!
Making wish lists is something I enjoy doing, (especially when I'm down a few pennies in my purse) so I just had to enter..

So first up is Casual Wear.. Day to day I think it's really nice to throw colour together! With the horrible weather we're having, and almost no sign of Spring, it's nice to add splashes of colour wherever possible.  Pink & yellow is one of my fave colour combos right now, and teaming this outfit with white pants & shoes really lets the colours speak for themselves!
I think this Party Look is a great way to break into the Monochrome trend this Spring/Summer. If you're not brave enough to try the mono stripes or prints, then this little outfit is perfect! Bang on trend, yet still really girly & feminine!
And finally, this is my kind of holiday.. one that doesn't necessarily mean walking around in a bikini everywhere you go. A lightweight shirt like this is the perfect cover up, and white bottoms are always a key item to take away on holiday to keep you cool! And keeping the accessories and makeup to a minimum. OH I CAN SEE THE SUN AS I TYPE! BRING ON THE SUMMER!

I'd love to hear what you think of my outfit choices, which one is your fave?

Happy Birthday Part 2

Last night the birthday celebrations continued, when me and my three favourite people spent the night eating and drinking like kings at my FAVOURITE little restaurant.

The Quarter Restaurant in Liverpool is a diamond, it has so many things going for it!
Part restaurant, part deli, it's the perfect place to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. With the friendliest staff around and a cosy, kitsch atmosphere you really feel at home. Plus it's so Parisian Chic inside, that I almost forgot where I actual am.
Seriously if you are ever in Liverpool you MUST check out this beauty of a spot! You will definitely not regret it!
 Mummy & Daughter
One hell of an antipasti!
Salmon, asparagus & poached egg pasta. Scrumdidlyumptious!

A restaurant that serves 100% homemade deserts is exactly why I love eating here, the banoffee pie is to die for!

Just a quick photo of the outfit I wore (the lighting was really awful)
Shirt - H&M on sale for £7
Jeans - Leigh at Topshop
Shoes - Zara
Watch - Micael Kors
This lovely hair chain is an absolute bargain from eBay, they're currently sold out but keep an eye out for them, it's definitely worth having one!

I'm also going out this weekend for a few drinks to end the celebrations, and I'll try to get an outfit post up, so look out for that.

Hope you're all having just as much of a lovely week as I've been treated to!

Happy Birthday Part 1

So yesterday was my birthday! YAAAAYYYY! I get a little snap happy on special occasions, and so I thought I could bring you along for the ride to see what I got up to, to celebrate.. (obviously I wasn't too focused on taking really good quality photos, as I was having WAY too much fun, but hopefully they're clear enough for you gorgeous lot!)
So for starters, I got my socks well and truly BLOWN OFF when I opened this! I've been lusting after this Michael Kors watch for FOREVER, and had actually had it on the list for my 21st gifts. But lo and behold, a whole year early, I'm the proud owner of this gem! I still can't actually quite believe
So once my heart had reached a normal beating pattern my Boyfriend, Auntie & Uncle arrived, adding these little lovely items to my collection..
Not that I ever doubt how much my boyfriend knows me.. But if I was to ever doubt it, I just have to look at this HUGE bottle of Chambord as a reminder! LOOK! IT'S NEARLY THE SAME SIZE AS MY HEAD!

And for the rest of the day, my boyfriend had the idea of going to the Zoo, which for someone who is OBSESSED with lions, and a long list of other animals, was perfect! I acted like I was 10 years old again, running off E numbers and excitement. But that's okay because it's my birthday right?
First off we're the elephants!
We spent the most time watching these AMAZING lions! And we got there just as it was feeding time, seeing a lion rip a giant piece of meat to shreds when they're this close to you, isn't something I think most people would enjoy. But I absolutely love it! Next time, I'll be going with a "Oceans Eleven" style master plan to bring one home as my own cat.

Of course a trip to the lion gift shop was essential! Don't worry though, you won't be seeing this hat in any of my future outfit posts.. Hmm.. Maybe.
Who doesn't love penguins this much?!
This gorgeous leopard is notorious for hiding, I've been to this zoo around 7 times and this is the first time I got to see him! The photo really doesn't do him any justice. He is amazing, and now I want a pet leopard.. to go with my lion..
(I wish I could remember the names of all the animals but I'm rubbish.. These little ones were amazing though, they literally gallop through the grass like they have springs on their hooves!)

3 hours and thousands of animals later, is was time to head home

As soon as we got home, it was time to put the gigantic bottle of Chambord to use & soon homemade French Martini's (my absolute fave) were flowing.. After the bottle of prosecco that is, my mum truly know the way to my heart!
And of course, finally it was time to blow out my 20 candles & make a wish, after a long day of excitement and being treated like a princess!

Rainy Days Ruin Outfit Ideas

Rain Rain Go Away Don't Come Back Another Day!

I hate when the rain ruins your plans for an outfit! Just as I was about to venture out.. The heavens opened. Lovely. I did brave it without my trusty umbrella to try and get a few snaps though..

This is one of my fave outfits to wear, the knee length skirt was something I was NEVER excited to wear when my mum picked it up or me as school uniform YEARS AGO!
But older & wiser now (aren't we?) I absolutely love it! Its floaty, feminine & is an all year round staple of my wardrobe.
But when the weather turns nasty like today.. throwing it on with a lovely little T and old leather jacket works for me.

Yin & Yang T-Shirt - New Look
Skirt - Primark
Leather Jacket - Topshop

A New Dress To Put A Smile On My Face

Just a quick little post tonight, of today's outfit. As you can see the sun decided to show itself for a while, yippee! (Hence the lack of focus in these photos) but hey! Who's complaining, some parts of the UK are 4 foot deep in snow as we speak!
I bought this dress from Pull & Bear on a complete impulse last week. There'll be a post on the rest of my shopping trip soon, so watch out for that.. But I'm really glad I bought it.

It's by far the easiest dress to wear. Because it was a bit chilly today I teamed it with tights and my trusty trench, but I can't wait for the warmer weather to join us so I can throw away the tights, and rock this dress with tanned legs and summery sandals. Or go full out sports luxe and jump around in my Nikes with it. It's so versatile, you'll probably be seeing a lot of me in this dress!

Dress - Pull & Bear
Trench - Zara
Necklace - Evans
Boots - Office
Bag - DKNY
